Zindagi Shows of ZEE5 Shining in #SummerofEmotions

Every year, our summer holiday schedules were jam-packed with the itineraries planned for summer special to beautiful and enjoyable spots in India or abroad. India experiences very hot weather in summers and the cold mountainous spots are a great respite to save us from scorching heat and sizzling temperature.

This year, summer plans got canceled due to the invasion of COVID 19 in India and a perfect lockdown kept us in quarantine with our family. We were disillusioned by sudden lockdown but still, we had to abide by it to save us from the novel unseen virus.

My office came to a standstill and I was secluded in the tight corner of the home. A week or so, we enjoyed the lockdown period with family and kids, but then, I started feeling monotonous and wanted to engage myself in something interesting.

There, my close friend became my saviour and told me about ZEE5 and the series of Zindagi, #SummerofEmotions. The 6 Zindagi shows were being aired on ZEE5 and she told me that it will certainly make gloomy summer more happy and shiny with Zindagi shows on ZEE5.

When I watched, I found her advice worth watching them. A collection of varied emotions, comedy and light shows that eased my mind…I was happy and gaga after being engaged with ZEE5.

  1. Aunn Zara

The story revolves around the cute couple Aunn and Zara, both are spoilt and pampered brats of their family. In character, they are poles apart but destiny plays the game of bringing the two together. Maya Ali has played the role of Zara and Osman Khalid Butt is in the role of Aunn. It is a feel good story and this story suits the current trends but you are saved from excessive melodrama. This story is etched by Faiza Iftikar and direction by Haissam Hussain. Aunn and Zara characters will steal your hearts.

  • Shehr E Zaat

It is an Urdu romantic number which revolves around Falak that is played by Mahira Khan. She is the single child of rich parents and a student of fine arts. Her inclination towards making sculptures is awesome and she sculpts the faces as she watches them. She meets Salman, the role played by Mikaal Zulfiqar matching her sculpture and falls in love with him. She believes that she has found the man of her dreams. The fairy love is short-lived and she is abused by her husband which wrecks her life and she moves away from Salman and she devotes herself to the Almighty. It is a story of a different kind with the tragic and spiritual angle which makes it interesting to watch. Falak character makes you fall in love with her.

The writer of this script is Umera Ahmed and it is produced by Momina Duraid.

  • Badi Aappa

This is the story of a strong woman, Zubeida aka Badi Aappa, who comes out unscathed despite the hardships in life. The role of the iron lady is well played by Savera Nadeem. Zubeida was in love with another man but by ill luck, she was married to Farman. The role of Farman is played by Noman Ejaz. Zubeida tries to keep control on her husband and daughter but it goes in vain. There are lots of twists and turn in the story but it will keep you glued, so, do not miss to watch the episodes. Badi Aappa is written by Samira Fazal and directed by Saife Hasan.

  • Mastana Mahi

Mastana Mahi will certainly take you to the roller coaster ride because the story revolves around love triangle, socio-political trauma, age-gap between the couples and so on. This is the story of a girl, Aaleen, who falls in love with a man of her father’s age. The role of Aaleen is essayed by Mehreen. The same situation takes place with the politician’s son, Adal, who is forced to marry a child bride, the role is played by Fahad Mustafa. Later on, Aaleen fell in love with the politician guy Adal and they marry. Adal tries to juggle between both the wives and the drama continues to be interesting and is welcomed by the Indian audience. To know the climax, watch the episodes streaming on ZEE5.

  • Noorpur ki Rani

Noorpoor ki Rani is an Urdu drama show which revolves around the character of an orphan girl, Noorie, the role essayed by Sanam Baloch. The storyline is based on the English novel, Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier. Noorie, an orphan was in great adversity but her destiny had better plans for her. She accidentally lands up in a royal palace where the old man stays with her daughter. They don’t have any heir and they were searching for it. At first, they were reluctant to accept Noorie because they wanted a male heir but later on, they accepted her. She was educated and inculcated with good social manners. Noorpur ki Raani is written by Pakistani screenwriter, Samira Fazal and directed by Haissam Hussain.

  • Main Abdul Qadeer Hoon

Main Abdul Qadeer Hoon is a story of an obedient son, Abdul Qadeer, who gets spoilt in the company of her girlfriend, Zareen. He indulges in ill-vices and is later on, spotted by their rich parents, who had money but no time for Abdul. His Mom sends him to England and there he is totally transformed into a better person with a spiritual side. His Mom is surprised by the change in him when she spots him in the homeland. With twists and turn, finally Abdul marries Zareen. You will spot some melodrama in Main Abdul Qadeer Hoon.

The role of Abdul is played by Fahad Mustafa and Alishaba Yusuf is in the role of Zareen. The writer of the series is Serwat Nazir and directed by Babar Javed.
