She was waiting
For her Love
Under the cover of darkness.
Waning Moon Smiled
Bright Stars winked at her.
Emotions surfacing
Rising & falling
Dying to meet her love
To untie the fastened dreams of her soul.
He wrapped her
In his strong arms
Cajoling & Caressing
Her soul.
Tears of happiness rolled by
Cleansing
The pain of separation
She suffered.
They Promised
To Stand for each other
Celebrating
Joys & Sorrows
Together.
