Betrayal

“Karan, let’s spend some time together,” Tia said.

“Today, no way. I have a meeting with my Director. Why
don’t you join your friends?

Tears rolled down and she was tight lipped.

She had booked the table for them and had thought of
surprising Karan with his preferred cuisine.

She decided not to cancel the table booking and spend time in solitude. She was overwhelmed. She accentuated her looks by hugging herself in one of the beautiful dresses gifted by Karan.

She waited anxiously for the waiter to come and take the order.

Karan stepped inside. She froze spotting her friend Allen with Karan. They took their seats. They did not had the inkling of Tia’s presence.

She walked out with heavy heart, and their giggles rang in her ears making her more restless.
