Everyone is well aware of the fact that looks can be
deceptive, still people adjudge people on looks and the womenfolk are adjudged
on their appearance rather than their potency.

Take common instance of marriage, the most sacred
institution on which whole life of a person depends and life is at stake if a
single step goes wrong, still it is fixed on the basis of looks. The first
foremost criteria is the appearance…this notion is of general
public…exceptions, please don’t include yourself in this list. It will be much
better if more people bunch to the list of exceptions.

The employers too prefer good looking
employees and in that bid many times, they hire dumb professionals who are
presentable till they choose to be silent. I am not accusing anyone, it is a
bitter truth.

I was in financial market for a very
long period of time and I saw closely how looks impacted the hiring process.

too a break of stereotype, as in those days, woman did not navigate into the
market…the domain was reserved for brilliant Men, regarded to be best managers
of finances. I was the first one in my
town to have navigated into this domain market and eyes pried on me with envy. My
productivity and the skills helped me to survive. My grasping power and the
edge over share market made me popular among the clients and my convincing
power and faith of the clients in me up surged the business volumes of the company.
The share market is a talk of faith, where people hard earned money is invested
and the trust that you build with the clients impacts your business turnover.

on the beautiful and slender girls and in three months’ time, the truth was in
open. Their productivity was questionable. They were best to walk on the ramps,
best for cheer leaders but the moment, they opened their mouth, all secrets of
beauty came out and the company could not afford to retain them for long.

her simplicity, every child is beautiful in the eyes of her parents…still I am
mentioning her simple in general terms that the people use to discriminate good

A simple girl, X was employed by the

I observed X minutely and was amazed
by her capabilities, she was a quick learner and adapted well in office and was
proactive in the task assigned. In one month’s time, the views of men at work
changed and they grew fond of her because of her capabilities. She broke the stereotypes
about women with I Am Capable.

Dear Men, don’t arrive at conclusion
based on appearance. Try to look beyond and gaze her capabilities and then pass
a remark. In a race of going for looks, you might miss a worthy person in your
personal life or in professional domain.
