Ever since its launch, “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain
has attracted a huge number of fan following. It is one of the most talked show

  • Manmohan Tiwari – Played by Rohitash Gaud, Manmohan is a
    successful businessman dealing in undergarments. He is coined as ‘Kaccha-Baniyaan’ because his neighbour Mishra feels that his business is degrading. He is attracted to Anita, his neighbour’s wife and leaves no stone unturned to
    woo her.

  • Angoori Tiwari  – Played by Shubhangi Atre Poorey, she is a typical traditional Indian housewife who loves to wear sarees and follow the traditions diligently. She is famous for the iconic tagline “Sahi Pakde Hain” and her incorrect English have made her a lovable character with a great fan following. Her “Tu-tu-Main-main” with Ammajee is another hilarious highlight in the show.

  • Vibhuti Narayan Mishra –Played by Aashif Sheikh, he is studious fellow but is not able to get a job due to false pride and ego. Hence, he is termed “Nalla” meaning useless. Most
    of the time, he is busy with devising unsuccessful methods to earn money through odd means. He is well versed in reciting poetry and through poetry, he keeps trying to woo Tiwari’s wife, Angoori.

  • Anita Mishra – Played by Saumya Tandon, Anita is a
    literate, headstrong and independent lady who is the breadwinner for the Mishra family. She runs a grooming class in Kanpur and has a black belt in Karate. She is a good friend of the naïve Angoori and is Tiwari’s crush, who keeps trying to woo Anita.

The social message is clear and loud, save girl child, educate her and remove gender biasedness from society. The story of a Pad Man revolves around the monthly cycle that every girl goes through after attaining puberty at a tender age of 9 to 12 years. The monthly cycle, the period is least talked about in our society and it is a matter believed to be under covers. There are a lot of myths and taboos attached to it. The educated mothers educate their daughters on the subject and the hygiene to be followed. But the larger population is ignorant and deprived of sanitary napkins, hygienic conditions. They are not educated enough to maintain hygiene during the time of periods. The consequence is bad health, infections, and diseases related to reproductive organs. The high cost of sanitary napkins poses an issue to use for the population below the poverty line or not economically sound. The movie Pad Man educates through the movie the importance of monthly cycle, uses of sanitary napkins, the healthy alternative of sanitary napkins, and to maintain hygiene during the period phase. It encourages for open discussion with parents and be proud of the periods because it proves that the girl or a woman is fertile and it is not a subject to be ashamed of. The message of the movie was taken in a positive stride and various platforms and activists came forward to address the issues related to periods. Schools and institutions came forward to obtain sanitary kiosks for the girl students and women employees so that they don’t face awkwardness at work or study place. The movie gave a clear and positive message and the transformations have taken place in our society.

Since ages, Indians have not attached much importance to the existence of toilets in the house. They believed that it was inauspicious to have a toilet within the premises of a house or a building. They went to fields to attend to nature call. With urbanization, the concept came into existence in big cities and towns but the semi-rural and rural area were deprived of the facility. The womenfolk suffered a lot because they had to venture out in dark to relieve themselves, either before sunrise or after sunset.

The movie Toilet conveyed the message to society on the importance of the toilet within the premises, especially for the womenfolk. It focussed on the unhygienic conditions related to open defecation in public places, lands and water bodies.

The movie had a great impact on the social and political machinery of India and the movement of building toilets in all homes and public places gathered pace. The ignorant and the unaware mass population realized the importance of a toilet. The girl to be married of became particular about the existence of toilets at their in-law’s place and they denied entering into such a relationship where the toilet did not exist for women.

The movie 3 Idiots moved the thought process of Indian parents. It revolutionized the primitive thinking of the parents, who aspired to see their children qualify in medical, engineering, civil services, and other superior jobs and did not have respect for all types of jobs. They overlooked the ambitions nurtured by the child according to his interest.

The movie tried to convey the message that no occupation is higher or lower and the interests of a student matter. If a student pursues the subject of his interest, he will excel and be confident always. The parental pressure on the child proves fatal at times or the child loses his interest and confidence.

This movie proved a game changer in society as it revoked the sentiments of the students. It encouraged them to voice their opinions and select a path that they find suitable for themselves. The mindset of parents changed and they readily welcomed the decision of their children.

Taare Zameen Par movie revolves around the character of a child, who suffers from a learning disability, Dyslexia. The parents are not able to assess that their child is not on par with his sibling or other children of his society and class. He does not do well at studies front and fails or gets lower marks. As a punishment, he is shifted to a boarding school. There, Aamir Khan identifies him with his disability and shifts his studies to the special course of the disabled or differently abled child. His patience and perseverance identify the potency of the child and he helps him on all fronts. The child excels in his subject of interest. Aamir Khan acquaints the parents of the disability his child is facing and how to help him to progress as a special child.

This movie has sent a positive message across all parents, teachers, children, and students. All the students are not alike, the potencies differ so never compare kids. Further, in our country, there is minimal support offered to a special child of God by the schools. There is a lack of special schools and amenities required for differently abled children.

The message was strong in the movie and it had a great impact on parents and teachers. They understood the reason and started accepting the kids who were different from the normal crowd, suffering from autism, dyslexia etc. 

India has to go a long way in this field but the consciousness has arrived and the movie Taare Zameen Par stirred the minds of people to think about the special children of God and accept their flaws. Many schools, institutions, and social organizations are coming forward to settle scores of a special child and make them independent by identifying their abilities and working on it.

All the 5 movies had a strong social message that stirred the emotions and changed the mindset of the society.

what has got us excited is the inside access to his phone. We got to know that
he is obsessed with using a lot of emoji’s when chatting! A source on the set
did try to peak inside the phone, while he is using them on a lot of girls, we
couldn’t hear any familiar names from B-town. However, we definitely know his
obsession with hearts and couple of other emoji’s that gets conversation going
for him.
When asked about the show he said “I had a crazy
time shooting for Inside Access with Miss Malini! I have known Malini ever
since I entered the industry and I can say without a doubt that she surely

Saavn’s Artist Originals launch Punjabi-pop song ‘VIBE’ by the PropheC

: Saavn, India’s leading audio streaming service today announced
the release of Vibe by Canadian Artist, The PropheC, as part of its
Artists Originals (AO) initiative. Vibe is a smooth Punjabi-pop track
that has gone live on Saavn and all global platforms today.
Vibe follows the success of Saavn’s previous AO release, Bom Diggy.
Having launched in September of 2017, the track garnered over 28 million
streams on Saavn, as well as 40 million views across YouTube and other
streaming platforms.
The PropheC has collaborated with
Saavn’s Artist Originals for this catchy track and accompanying music video
that showcases his trademark sound in a totally new light. The video for Vibe

Viu set to launch musical drama Spotlight 2 on 26th January

media company announced the launch of Spotlight 2 making this a franchise of
the successful Viu Originals series Spotlight. Presented in association with
known writer and director Vikram Bhatt, the theme of the franchise is a running
series that captures the rise, fall and resurrection of a music superstar.
An intense
and stormy romance between two headstrong people on the opposite ends of the
spectrum – Spotlight 2 explores the exasperating reality of being a music
celebrity. The series is being directed by Siddhant Sachdeva and will feature
popular television actor Karan V Grover along with two dazzling former Miss
India’s , Aditi Arya and Ruhi Singh. Focusing on compelling content offered in
a contemporary setting, the series will feature more than 7 originally composed
tracks brought to life by soulful musicians Harish Sanganay, Ankit Shah and

Based on the
buzzing music industry in Mumbai, Spotlight 2 is a story of a talented but
flamboyant musician, Vicky, who is on the verge of career-suicide. His hard

VIKRAM BLEEDS WHILE SHOOTING FOR EK DEEWAANA THA

The charming and good looking Vikram Singh Chauhan, ‘Vyom’ from Ek Deewaana Tha is a director’s actor who always believes in going an extra mile to get into the skin of the character. In the upcoming episode of Ek Deewaana Tha, Vikram is seen playing a guitar to serenade Sharanya (Donal Bisht) and he got so involved into the act that he ended up hurting his fingers and blood started oozing out! But that didn’t deter Vikram from shooting and he played the strings until the shot was okayed.
When contacted Vikram said, “Acting for me is not merely a profession, it’s also my passion. It’s a constant endeavor for me to present my best performance for the audiences. While shooting for the sequence with the guitar, I was required to strum the strings constantly as I sing a song to appease Sharanya. After the completion of the shot, when I went back to my vanity I realized that my fingers were bleeding! I was so engrossed while shooting that I didn’t even know I had hurt myself. The crew quickly provided first aid which was a relief.”
In the upcoming track of Ek Deewaana Tha Sharanaya portrayed by Donal Bisht is upset with Vyom as he does not let her consult Odhni to find out about her past life. Vyom visits Sharanaya’s home and sings a song to serenade her and win her affection wherein Shiv will use his mystical powers to keep both of them apart from each other.

मस्ती व धमाल के लिए एकल व कपल डांस के साथ ही फिल्मी गानों की प्रस्तुति को सभी
ने बहुत एन्जॉय किया फैशन शो से आरम्भ हुए कार्यक्रम में टीम की गर्ल्स ने शानदार
कैटवाक किया वही फैंसी ड्रेस में एक से बढ़कर एक अंदाज सामने आये ड्रामा और कविताओं
में मनोरंजन के साथ ही सशक्त सामाजिक मेसेज दिए | कबीर के दोहों  की प्रस्तुति ने नैतिक शिक्षा का पाठ  भी पढ़ाया मस्ती और धमाल के इस माहौल में स्टाफ
के बच्चे भी मंच पर आने के लिए मचल उठे और शानदार डांस की प्रस्तुतियों के साथ
कविता भी सुनाई | दो टीम बनाकर दी गई इन प्रस्तुतियों में सभी परफॉरमेंस के आधार
पर विजेता टीम को आकर्षक ट्राफी प्रदान की गई इसके साथ ही ड्रामा कविता गायन अभिनय
इत्यादि के लिए भी श्रेष्ठ प्रस्तुतियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया संस्था की विकास
यात्रा में सहयोगी बनने के लिए पूरी टीम को प्रमाण पत्र देने के साथ ही कम्पनी की

Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha’s sizzling chemistry in ALTBalaji’s BOSE Dead/Alive

Rajkummar Rao has been dating Patralekha, for a
while now, and the steady couple is all set to star in ALTBalaji’s most
ambitious digital show BOSE Dead/Alive. While most actor couples fail to
translate their real-life chemistry on reel-life, Rajkummar and Patralekha’s
on-screen portrayal, in the digital show is on point, and the way they radiate
off each other’s energy is evident.
Rajkummar and Patralekha who were last seen in
Hansal Mehta’s highly acclaimed Citylights are coming together for yet another
Hansal Mehta creation. (He is the creative producer of ALTBalaji’s Bose
Dead/Alive)
Patralekha plays the role of Nandini in BOSE
Dead/Alive. She is a rich, charming girl who is inspired by Subhash Chandra
Bose’s passion for county’s freedom. Rajkummar and Patralekha will share a
palpable chemistry on-screen yet again in this thriller.
Patralekha’s character will bring in a balance and
will add a softness to the show which is high on patriotism, revolution,
violence and fight for freedom. Her character is quite strong and almost at par
with Subhash’s, as she is the early forerunner to women joining the freedom
struggle.

ALTBalaji’s Bose Dead/Alive starring Rajkummar Rao
will trace the journey of the freedom fighter from being an introverted
14-year-old to a 48-year-old brave nationalist. This fast-paced thriller will
soon be streaming on the ALTBalaji app.
